Manna is a New York based floral designer with roots from California and Japan. She comes from a family of farmers, an ikebana designer, and landscape bonsai gardener, making floral design feel like second nature. Working with her hands and creating beautiful pieces of natural art bring her a great sense of peace.

She enjoys collaborating with a wide range of floral designers, finding inspiration in the diversity of styles, techniques, and perspectives from each experience. As an assistant, she stays true to the designer’s vision and is an adaptable, reliable, and calm presence behind the scenes.

In her own work, Manna is committed to sustainable practices, drawing inspiration from the principles of ikebana — simplicity, minimalism, and emphasis on natural beauty. She is thoughtful and intentional with her practice, minimizing waste and choosing sustainable, non-toxic materials whenever possible.
